EVENING WITH JEREMY COX
OUR SPECIAL GUEST JEREMY COX

CHECK OUT HIS BIO BELOW!!!

Jeremy Cox

Jeremy Cox is a graduate of Cal State Fullerton earning his Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Graphic Design.  Upon graduation, he worked in the action sports industry for approximately five years.  He then moved on to working in the diecast industry where he worked on various diecast lines for almost 2 years.

In 2007, Jeremy was fortunate enough to obtain a job at Mattel working as a temporary employee on the Matchbox Graphics Design team for over 3 years.  He designed graphics for basic cars which included five and ten car packs. He also worked on Skybusters and many various other products for Matchbox.   In 2010, Jeremy was hired on to become a permanent employee for Mattel. Although he enjoyed working with the Matchbox team, in 2012 he made the decision to transition over to Hot Wheels where he works today.  Since joining the Hot Wheels team, Jeremy has worked on many products in the year 2011.  These include Dale Earnhardt Jr. (all vehicles), Drag Racers (Mad Fast, Fright Bike, 40 Ford Pickup), Video Game Heroes (Circle Tracker), and HW City Works (Skyknife).

In 2012, Jeremy worked on the Dare Devil and Demolition Derby 5 packs, all code car vehicles, and various other product lines such as HW Hometown (2010 Ford Mustang GT). He also created the graphics for the real life Hot Wheels vehicles that did the Double Dare Loop at the 2013 X-Games.

In 2013, Jeremy worked on all the Team Hot Wheels deco and real full-scale vehicle graphics for the 2013 Hot Wheels World’s Best Driver Movie. He also created deco for Monster Jam, Color Shifters, Spin Shots, Trackin Trucks, and various other entertainment properties such as Power Rangers, Sponge Bob, as well as, the 1:64th performance vehicles and several basic cars and 5 packs.

Since 2013, character cars have become a huge part of Jeremy’s day-to-day design work. He manages and designs all the graphics for every single character car that hits the shelves.  These brands include, but not limited to, Marvel, Star Wars, DC Universe, Nintendo and Nickelodeon. In 2015, Jeremy began to manage and design all of the Star Wars Star Ships as well. Jeremy also continues to work on Rigs, Color shifters, mainline basic cars, Hot Wheels Monster Trucks and many other lines that come out of Hot Wheels.

In 2018, Mattel started a new Monster Truck line called Hot Wheels Monster Trucks. Jeremy is the lead designer and Creative director on this new amazing product. Some of the trucks that he has designed include: The toxic mini collection, the demo derby mini collection, the flame shark, WWE trucks and Bigfoot just to name a few.
